Federal Mahogany Inlaid Bowfront Bureau, probably Massachusetts, c. 1800, the overhanging rectangular top, bowed front, and inlaid edge on a conforming case of four cockbeaded graduated drawers on bracket feet, original brass pulls, old finish, (imperfections),ht. 31 1/2, wd. 38 1/2, dp. 21 1/4 in.

Note: Drawer bottoms are lined with an invitation to a Mount Lebanon Lodge Masonic meeting with brother Jonathan Stanley, September, 1807, and a label "Cheap European and India Goods Sold by Knight and Gridley, Boston," along with other printed material.
