Lot of Two: A Miniature Portrait of a Gentleman and a Silhouette of Jane Taylor. Unsigned. A watercolor portrait of a gentleman on paper, wearing a high collar, a white cravat, and black coat with a cloud-like background, 4 1/4 x 3 1/2 in., in an oval eglomise mat and giltwood frame; together with a printed profile bust portrait of a woman on paper, with inscription below "believe me ever affectionately yours Jane Taylor," 5 x 3 1/2 in., framed. Condition: The first with subtle toning and foxing, eglomise glass is broken; the silhouette with toning, foxing, creases.
