Pewter Flagon, Thomas Danforth Boardman and Sherman Boardman, Hartford, Connecticut, 1805-50, molded domed cover with thumbplate on tall tapered cylindrical vessel with lower fillet, molded base, double-scroll handle with bud terminal; impressed eagle touchmark and "BOARDMAN & Co. NEW YORK" (made for sale in the New York shop),"T.D. & S.B." rectangular touchmark and two "X" quality marks on the base, (minor wear),ht. 11 1/4 in.
