Lacquered-Brass Quadrant, probably English, 18th century, possibly for gunnery, divided 0-90 and 90-0, with iron plumb and brass bob, cross struts and support with slotted bracket, on latter circular foot, radius 8 1/2 in., and an engraving of quadrants from Dictionary of Arts & Science by Benjamin Tanner, 1798.
