American School, 19th Century

Three Miniature Portraits. A pair, both inscribed "Everet Howard Daughter" l.c. and identified by inscriptions on the back as "Arvilla Bailey" and "Samuel Bailey m. 1800," watercolor on paper, oval format 4 x 3 in., in black painted oval frames with inner gilt border; and a profile portrait of a man, unsigned, with paper label affixed to reverse reading "MESSERS. R. & W. KERRY ARTISTS," watercolor on paper, 4 x 3 in. (sight), in a molded wood frame with interior gilt border. Condition: The pair is laid down onto thin cardboard, toning, foxing; the portrait of a man with toning and foxing.
