Brown Composition Shirley Temple Doll, unmarked, known as "Hawaiian Shirley" representing Marama from 1935 movie "The Hurricane," brown painted eyes to side, open-closed mouth, molded teeth (small paint chip forehead),wig of black twisted yarn, five piece brown composition body, white silky floss "grass" skirt, paper lei, white socks and shoes, ht. 12 1/2 in. Literature: A Celebration of American Dolls from the Strong Museum, by Dorothy A.
