Historic Canary Yellow Creamware Child's Mug, England, early 19th century, with black transfer oval medallion portraits of "Lafayette" and "Washington" suspended beneath an eagle and inscribed banner, applied handle with foliate impressed ends, (tiny glaze imperfections on the rim),ht. 2 1/2, dia. 2 3/4 in. Provenance: A printed paper label appears on the bottom inscribed "Harrold E. Gillingham. Germantown Philadelphia," to the present owner.
