Silver-gilt, Enamel, and Hardstone Mounted Four-in-Hand Carriage Table Ornament, early 20th century, rear wheels marked 925, formed as a well-sprung carriage with etched glass windows, and doors that open to enameled interior, set with cabochon and faceted purple stones and seed pearls, drawn by four silver horses, with a single outrider jumping a rail, the rider, horses and coachman in cobalt blue enameled livery, on shaped base set with clusters of various cabochon stones and amethyst geodes, raised on leaf engraved and acanthus mounted base, lg. 30 1/2, dp. 12, ht. approx. 8 in.
