Attributed to William Tinsley (American, active c. 1851-52) Two Portraits: Jane Smith Bunce (1804-1863) and Catherine Bunce Boyd (1825-1898). Former signed and dated "Wm. Tinsley 1851" under lining, sitter identified on label on the reverse, latter unsigned. Oil on canvas, 29 1/2 x 24 1/4 in., in gilt gesso frames. Condition: Lined, minor retouch, varnish inconsistencies to latter.
