E.E. Finch (American, active 1833-1850) Portrait of a Lady in a Bonnet. Signed and dated "E.E. Finch painted 1841" on the reverse. Oil on canvas, 29 1/2 x 24 1/2 in., in a gilt molded frame. Condition: Small repaired puncture upper center, very minor scattered retouch. N.B. Finch painted portraits in oil and pen and ink. His portraits have been found primarily in Maine.
