Chippendale Walnut Tall Chest, Chester County, Pennsylvania, "1784," the flaring cornice molding above ten thumb-molded drawers flanked by quarter engaged fluted columns above a heavy molded base on ogee feet with scrolled spurs on platforms, replaced brass pulls, original escutcheons, refinished, (minor repairs), ht. 64, wd. at molding 43, case wd. 40 1/4, dp. at top 22 1/4, case dp. 20 1/2 in. N.B. "1784" is inscribed on the bottom board.
