Central Plains Beaded Hide Pouch, probably Cheyenne, c. 1880s, the rectangular buffalo hide pouch beaded on the front in a typical Cheyenne pattern using white-center red, dark blue, and green on a white ground, tine cones on the flap and bottom, original tag reads "Crow Indian Ration Ticket Case, from 'Shows a Fish' Crow Agency, Montana, April 9, 1889," lg. 5 in. Provenance: Collected on the Crow Reservation in the late 1880s.
