Central Plains Beaded and Quilled Hide Pipe Bag, Lakota, c. late 19th century, the buckskin bag roll beaded at the top with three lanes of beadwork descending to a lower panel beaded in multicolored geometric devices on a white ground, the design on one side including horse tracks, multicolored quilled slats and restored fringe hang below the panel, further decorated with beaded and quilled attachments, traces of yellow pigment overall, lg. 29 in.
