Central Plains Beaded Hide Pipe Bag, Lakota, c. late 19th century, the native tanned hide bag with three rows of beadwork descending to the central panel, with split hourglass devices on both sides, the bottom panel with quill-wrapped slats, tin cone and feather danglers and fringe, a beaded lizard fetish is tied to one side of the upper bag, (tears to hide), lg. 32 in.
