Central Plains "Scull Cracker" Club, probably Lakota, last quarter 19th century, the rawhide-wrapped wood handle with elliptical quartz head, a roll-beaded adornment attached to handle, traces of red pigment, (damaged head), lg. 31 in. Provenance: Given in 1902 to the Gardner Museum, Gardner, Massachusetts.
