Small Early Papier-mch} Shoulder Head Lady Doll, Germany, c. 1840, black molded hair, long curls onto shoulders on sides, bun in back (fine crackles on back of head), dark painted eyes, kid "milliner's model" body, wood lower limbs, blue painted slippers, possibly original cotton dotted Swiss dress, brown velvet trim, ht. 9 3/4 in.
