Beck International Binocular Microscope, No. 9069, late 19th century, with rack-and-pinion focusing, dividing eye pieces, micrometer nose focusing, prism, divided circular stage with horizontal, lateral, and rotating action, mechanical sub-stage with iris diaphragm and three lens condenser, on twin pillars to rotating base with tripod feet, with maker's, retailer's, and owner's signatures, R. & J. Beck, London and Philadelphia, Sold By T.H. McAlister, New York, and Henry M. Dickinson, with two fitted cases of accessories, slides, and Hogg's "The Microscope," in fitted mahogany case, ht. 20 in. N.B. The International was Beck's largest stand, and sold in far less numbers than their No. 1 Large Best.
