Shaker Grain Painted Two-Drawer Blanket Chest, New Lebanon, New York, 1830-40, the hinged rectangular breadboard top lifts over the nail-constructed well and two long scratchbeaded drawers on tapering cutout feet, all-over later grain paint to simulate exotic wood, old replaced pulls, (surface imperfections), ht. 36, wd. 40 1/2, dp. 18 1/2 in.
