As the 3rd son of Vietnamese refugees, he draws from his culture and family history as offerings and support in engaging different backgrounds and communities. His Fulbright to Vietnam in 2010 has inspired and informed his attitude towards artmaking. Vo works diligently in the efforts to share the transformative quality of art to all communities.
