Auction June 2, 2012 in Marlborough, Massachusetts

Featuring an important Natural History Collection

The next Science, Technology and Clocks auction at Skinner features several prominent watch and clock collections, horological tools and a comprehensive library alongside an important early 19th Century English Fossil Collection from Mary Anning, Dorset and Bryce McMurdo Wright, London. Many of these lots are accompanied by original catalogue labels. In addition to numerous exceptional examples of Crinoids, Trilobites, Ammonites, fish, dinosaur and egg specimens, two complete Psittacosaurus skeletons will be offered. This is a unique opportunity for collectors to acquire rare, well-documented fossils found in England in the first quarter of the 19th century. Quality consignments for this sale are accepted until mid-March. For more information, please contact the department at 508-970-3244, or clocks@skinnerinc.com.
