Sales Tax
Massachusetts 6.25% sales tax is due on all purchases picked up from the gallery or shipped via an agent unless you are a dealer with a valid US issued tax exempt certificate and can provide the appropriate documentation.

Successful buyers may contact one of the firms listed below, or one of their choosing to arrange for shipping. They require your buyer name (as invoiced), sale date/title, and lot number(s). The Agents listed below, pick-up frequently at each gallery and provide efficient and economical services. Once arrangements have been made, you must provide SKINNER with a completed Authorized Release Form.

Fine Jewelry purchases are packed and shipped by SKINNER via USPS Registered Insured mail within the United States only. The charges are as follows for customers in the United States:
Under $2,000, please add $35.
$2,000- $10,000, please add $45.
$10,000- $25,000, please add $50.
Above $25,000, please contact the Fine Jewelry Department for shipping options.
Please add the appropriate fee to your invoice amount at time of payment. Oversize items may incur additional charges. Non-jewelry items such as handbags and coats must be shipped by a third-party. SKINNER ships Fine Jewelry only within the United States.

Items left uncollected may be subject to additional storage and handling fees as per SKINNERs Terms & Conditions. Please be advised that (a) all such packaging, handling and shipping is at the sole risk of the purchaser and that SKINNER, Inc. shall have no liability for any loss or damage to such items, and (b) purchaser shall pay in advance, all packaging expenses, including labor, materials and postage and carrier fees, and all insurance charges.
