Ways to Pay for your Auction purchase:
- Cash or Money Order
- Personal or Business check payable to SKINNER, INC., attn. Accounts Receivable and mailed to SKINNER, INC. 357 Main Street, Bolton, MA 01740.
- Bank Wire Transfer (direct bank to bank transfer for larger transactions). Please call or email postauction@skinnerinc.com for instructions.
- SKINNER does not accept Credit Cards, Western Union or PayPal.
Sales Tax
Massachusetts 5% sales tax is due on all purchases picked up from the gallery or shipped via an agent. Buyers holding a valid US issued resale certificate are exempt from tax provided all the necessary paperwork is current and on file with SKINNER. Qualified buyers can print and send in the appropriate form with the required documentation with their auction payment.
Shipping
Successful buyers can contact one of the firms listed below, or one of their choosing to arrange for shipping. They require your buyer name (as invoiced), sale date/title, and lot number(s). Agents pick up frequently at each gallery, and provide efficient and economical services. Once arrangements have been made, you must provide SKINNER with a completed shipping authorization form.

Jewelry Sales Special Note for Shipping
Please note the shipping procedures for SKINNER Fine Jewelry auctions differ from all other SKINNER departments.
Fine Jewelry purchases are packed and shipped by SKINNER via USPS Registered Insured mail within the United States only. The charges are as follows for customers in the United States:
Total invoice amount (including premium):
Under $4,000, please add $30.
$4,000- $10,000, please add $35.
$10,000- $15,000, please add $40.
$15,000- $25,000, please add $45.
Please add the appropriate fee to your invoice amount at time of payment. Oversize items may incur additional charges. Non-jewelry items such as handbags and coats must be shipped by a third-party.
SKINNER ships Fine Jewelry only within the United States.

Please be advised that jewelry sent internationally cannot be insured for more than $500, and certain countries restrict import of jewelry. Please contact the shipping agent directly regarding international shipping.
Items left uncollected may be subject to additional storage and handling fees as per SKINNERs Terms & Conditions. Please be advised that (a) all such packaging, handling and shipping is at the sole risk of the purchaser and that SKINNER, Inc. shall have no liability for any loss or damage to such items, and (b) purchaser shall pay in advance, all packaging expenses, including labor, materials and postage and carrier fees, and all insurance charges.
