Skinner Appoints Florida Rep: Auction House Expands in Florida

Boston, MA – Skinner announces that Alice Bley Meyerson has joined Skinner Auctioneers and Appraisers of Antiques and Fine Art as its Florida representative. Ms. Meyerson will serve as a general appraiser and liaison with Skinner specialists, providing appropriate professional assistance on the evaluation and/or liquidation of tangible personal property.

As the fourth largest auction house in the nation, Skinner offers a full range of art and antique appraisal services keyed to meet the varied needs of individuals, institutions, and the banking and legal communities alike. Ms. Meyerson is a personal property appraiser, qualified to evaluate objects for estate, insurance, estate planning, and gifting appraisals, and also will be available to advise clients regarding the sale of art, antiques and fine collectibles at auction. Additionally, she will work with non-profit groups, to assist them in organizing fund raising ventures including appraisal days, benefit auctions and lectures.

For twenty years, Ms. Meyerson worked as a partner of Antiques Appraisers Associates of Cleveland, Ohio, specializing in appraisals for insurance and estates. This firm was also the court-appointed appraiser for greater Cleveland, which encompasses Cuyahoga County, as well as surrounding areas. As an appraiser, she also has taught classes in antiques, and has lectured extensively. She is a graduate of Ohio State University.
