BOLTON, Mass. - June 3rd, 2005 – www.skinnerinc.com - Skinner, Inc., one of the nation's leading auction houses for antiques and fine art, will host a two-day Discovery Auction on Thursday, June 16th and Friday, June 17th in its Bolton, Mass. gallery. The Thursday session begins at 5 p.m. and features over 400 lots of period, estate, and costume jewelry, plus a large assortment of wristwatches and pocket watches. The jewelry offerings include individual pieces, small groups, and large collections

The Friday session, beginning at 10:00 a.m., features a wide array of offerings in over 500 lots. Major highlights include a large collection of art glass paperweights and a nice selection of 19th century silhouettes. The Friday session is rounded out with Skinner's usual fare of European, American, and Asian furniture and decorative arts including porcelain, ceramics, metalware, china, art glass, textiles, Oriental rugs and carpets, and collectibles of all kinds.
