To kick-off its fall auction season, Skinner will host a special one-day Discovery auction on Friday September 9 th beginning at 10:00 a.m. The end of the month features a two-day Discovery Auction on Thursday, September 29 th beginning at 5:00 p.m. , and Friday September 30 th at 10:00 a.m.

The one-day sale on September 9 th will feature over 600 lots of estate property including European, American, and Asian furniture, a selection of paintings, prints, and works on paper, plus a wide assortment of decorative arts including ceramics, metalware, china, art glass, textiles, Oriental rugs and carpets, and collectibles of all kinds.

The two-day sale at the end of the month will feature over 1,000 lots and includes Discovery’s usual fare plus offerings of textiles, couture, silver, silverplate, and a wide selection of antique, estate, and costume jewelry. Property from a prominent Woods Hole, MA estate will also be offered.
