The July 13th auction features almost 800 lots of pottery and porcelain. Highlights include Vienna and Meissen porcelains, Worcester and Royal Worcester, KPM plaques and figures, Portland vases, a collection of Gouda, Dresden, Royal Bonn, and other Continental ceramics. The pottery section opens with an assortment of Delft and delftwares, a large collection of Royal Doulton flambé, a Martin Brothers tobacco jar, and a nice assortment of Wedgwood, highlighted by twenty-three pieces of fairyland lustre. The auction concludes with the stunning Harry A. Root Jr. Collection of 18th century English Pottery, which includes about 370 lots of early creamwares, tortoiseshell wares, salt glaze, and early cow creamers.
