Four Possibly Mennonite Quilts, Waterloo County, Ontario, Canada, 1910-40, a "Nine Patch" variation quilt with blocks set against a white background within a red and white border; a "Puss in the Corner" pattern quilt with rose-colored blocks forming a repeating "X" pattern against a violet background; an unknown pattern quilt in shades of blue, red, and purple; and a "Variable Star" pattern quilt with stars in shades of red against a red background, lg. to 88, wd. to 66 in.
Provenance: Unknown pattern quilt from the estate of Cleason Brubacher, possibly Wallenstein, Ontario.
