Gemini 7 orbits the Earth, Gemini 6, December 1965. Large-format vintage chromogenic print on fiber-based Kodak paper with 'A Kodak Paper' watermark on the verso, image/sheet size 11 x 13 1/4 in. (27.7 x 33.5 cm),unmatted.
Condition: Minor emulsion losses at corners and upper and lower edges.
N.B. Thomas Stafford and Walter Schirra aboard Gemini 6 spacecraft photographed Gemini 7 piloted by James Lovell and Frank Borman. Gemini 6 and 7 were maneuvered, as Schirra put it, 'window to window and nose to nose,' close enough to wave to each other through the portholes (https://www.nasa.gov/50th/50th_magazine/humanFactor.html). In the nose of the spacecraft, two circular radar receivers and a larger, round parachute installation are visible. The NASA negative number is S-65-63188.
