David Scott leaning in the Moon's one sixth gravity, lunar-science station, EVA 2, Apollo 15, August 1971. Numbered 'NASA AS15-87-11847' (NASA MSC) in red on the recto u.l. margin. Vintage chromogenic print on fiber-based Kodak paper with 'A Kodak Paper' watermark on the verso, image size 7 1/8 x 7 1/8 in. (18.0 x 18.0 cm),unmatted.
Condition: Good.

N.B. David Scott is leaning to his right and picking up the drill for the Heat-Flow experiment with the Solar Wind Spectrometer in the foreground. Early on, astronauts were very cautious in their spacesuits, aware of the lethal dangers of their environment. By later missions the spacesuits had proven their durability, and astronauts thought nothing of leaping, stumbling, or falling.
