Mahogany and Mahogany Veneer Inlaid Serpentine-front Sideboard, possibly Connecticut, c. 1800, projecting elliptic front and serpentine sides, case with three drawers above cupboard doors, the center section recessed, joining square tapering legs, old refinish, ht. 42 1/4, wd. 78 1/2, dp. 26 1/4 in.
Provenance: Purchased from C.W. Lyon, Inc., New York, in 1945.
