George III Mahogany Wardrobe, c. 1790, broken scroll pediment with ormolu mounts over upper case with double doors, lower case with three graduated drawers, supported on carved gadrooned and turned feet, ht. 85 1/2, wd. 52 1/4, 21 3/4 in.
Provenance: Reportedly from the O.I. Pulvermacher collection, purchased at Curries Auction Sales, Johannesburg, September 11, 1959.

Lifting of veneer, some surface wear including nicks and scuffs and signs of age-appropriate wear, chips/losses to feet, wear to edges/corners, split on right side back, wear to surfaces of lower case, sticker on right side of upper case for British Antiques Dealers Association Interior has had bottom cut out and top of lower case cut out so that the interior on top is longer probably for hanging space.
