Menemsha Pond
Signed "Benton" in pencil l.r., partial dry stamp of a thistle to l.l. corner.
Watercolor on paper, 11 3/8 x 14 1/2 in. (29.0 x 37.0 cm), unmatted, unframed.
Condition: Paper remnants and glue residue from a prior mounting along the edges of the recto and on the reverse, abrasion/surface loss to l.l. corner by the dry stamp, subtle toning and mat burn, a cluster of tiny fox marks to the sky.

Provenance: A Naples, Florida, estate.
