Carved Giltwood Eagle Figure on a Paint-decorated Pedestal Cabinet, 19th century, the spreadwing eagle figure perched on a black-painted ball and turned support, on a triangular paneled pedestal with concave sides and front hinged door, the panels painted to simulate marbling, the frame painted blue-gray, with molded lower edge and ball feet, old wrought iron escutcheon on door, (minor imperfections),ht. 80 1/2, wd. 30 1/2 in.
