Description:

Staffordshire Salt-glazed Stoneware Teapot and Cover, England, c. 1750, globular shape with molded floral finial and crabstock handle and spout, polychrome enamel-decorated flower garden to either side, ht. 3 7/8 in.

Provenance: The Victor & Muriel Polikoff Collection.
Estimate $300-500

Cover: 1 1/4" hairline; collar with restored chips.
Pot: Several areas of body and spout restoration.
