Carved Walnut-cased "Neptune Chelsea" Ship's Bell Clock, retailed by Riggs & Brothers, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the apparently unique case carved in high relief and in the round, the crest with Neptune holding his trident, on a base of rockery and marine plants, overall ht. 14 1/4, clock dia. 5 1/2 in.

Provenance: From an eight-generation collection of historical maritime art, antiques, and artifacts.
