English Astronomical Regulator by Gabriel, London, c. 1860, arch-top mahogany case with full-length glazed door, paneled lower section and simple stepped base, silvered 12-in. dial marked Gabriel/London with outer arabic minutes, seconds dial in the upper quadrant and hours below all with blued-steel hands, eight-day, five-pillar, post movement, deadbeat escapement, six-spoke brass pulley, nickel-cased lead-filled pendulum with regulating scale calibrated 1-4, silvered beat scale, and brass-cased weight, ht. 71 1/2 in.
