Condition: Vertical cracks to panel with paint losses, fine craquelure, varnish discoloration, surface grime.
N.B. St. Dominic is typically portrayed in the habit of his order. His attributes include the rosary and the lily. The dog with the flaming torch in its mouth gives form to a vision that came to his mother before his birth and represents Dominic's spreading of the Gospel throughout the world.
