Arts and Crafts Gold and Garnet Cross, Edward Oakes, the large cross centering a step-cut garnet, with foliate motifs, and suspended from gold chain, 75.5 dwt, lg. 4 5/8, 31 1/2 in., maker's mark.

Note: Reverse inscribed: "Presented by the Laymen of the Diocese of West Missouri on April 19, 1950 to the Rt. Rev. Edward Randolph Welles."
