Blue and White Vase, China, Kangxi period, slightly flattened hexagonal pear-shape, with a long neck and slightly flared rim, resting on a splayed stem foot, decorated with three sets of alternating designs in lobed panels including a garden scene with female figure, a landscape with male figures, and a study scene with various scholar's accoutrements, all against a "cracked ice" ground, the neck and foot with bands and lappets of various patterns, a trellis band around the interior mouth rim, "G" mark on base, Geoffrey Waters London sticker on base, ht. 11 3/4 in.
