Carved "Dove Peace" Whale Ivory and Baleen Cane, Massachusetts, c. 1865, the carved dove knob above a braided baleen sailor's knot spacer and shaft of wrapped baleen with two whale ivory doves, and a whale ivory tip, lg. 35 3/4 in.
