Rare Books, Fourteen Volumes from the 18th and 19th Century, including: La France Galante, Cologne: Marteau, 1706, 12mo, may be volume one only, worn leather; John Newton's Letters to a Wife, Philadelphia: Young, 1797, octavo, worn sheepskin; Elizabeth Warburton's The Experienced English Housekeeper, London: for J. Brambles et al., 1808, with the frontispiece, full leather; The Improved American Family Physician, New York: [no printer], 1833, in half leather; two volumes from Jardine's Naturalist's Library: Ruminantia, and Pachydermes, Edinburgh: Lizars, 1835-36, in matching half green morocco, boards detached, color illustrations in both; Amasa Delano's A Narrative of Voyages and Travels in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, Boston: by House for the author, 1817, frontispiece, full contemporary leather, spotting throughout; [and] seven others.
