Needlework and Watercolor Picture, America or England, early 19th century, worked in silk threads on a silk ground, with details and sky painted in watercolor, a young boy carrying water with a maid milking a cow beyond, (staining to sky, fading to threads, minor holes to silk), 22 x 17 1/2 in., in a period molded black-painted and gilt frame with stylized anthemion and geometric designs.
The framed size is 26 1/2 x 21 1/2 in.
