Oil on panel, 11 1/2 x 15 7/8 in. (29.5 x 40.5 cm),unframed.
Condition: Minor retouch, horizontal crack to panel l.l. and other hairline cracks, scattered small abrasions and paint losses, varnish inconsistencies, surface imperfections, fine craquelure, heavy varnish.

Provenance: A New York estate.

N.B. On the back of an accompanying black and white photograph of this lot, some provenance has been inscribed: "Auction: George Smith, London, 8 May, 1901 Katalog No. 435, London," and in a different hand, "Sixtina Gallery, 5 Ave. New York City. 1959."

Panel has been reinforced with two vertical supports on the reverse.
