André Kertész (Hungarian/American, 1894-1985)

Vert Galant, Paris, 1963. Titled and signed "A Kertész" in pencil on the verso u.c., stamped "PHOTO BY/ANDRÉ KERTÉSZ" in black ink and dated "10-26-63" in ink on the verso l.c. Gelatin silver print on glossy paper, image size 9 5/8 x 7 3/8 in. (24.5 x 18.8 cm), matted, unframed.
Condition: Scattered subtle handling creases, minor wear at corners, hinge remnants on the verso at upper corners.

Provenance: A private New York collection.
Estimate $1,000-2,000

Inscribed "Moderne Museet No 55" in pencil on the verso l.r. Sheet measures 10 x 8 in. (25.5 x 20.4 cm).
