Victor Albert Prout (British, 1835-1877)

Forty-five River Thames Views, including Locks, Weirs, and Bridges, 1860s. Unsigned, many inscribed with locations on the versos. Albumen silver prints, image/sheet sizes 4 x 7 in. (10.1 x 17.8 cm), unmatted, unframed.

Condition: Prints have been removed from their mounts, most lightly faded, several with scattered subtle fox marks and minor handling creases.

Provenance: Property from the collection of Harvey Shipley Miller, proceeds to benefit the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

N.B. The prints are from a dismantled album. The cover is included with the lot.
