Francis Frith (British, 1822-1898)

Mount Serbal, From the Wádee Feyrán, Egypt, 1858-60. Titled on the pre-printed mount. Albumen silver print mounted to album page, image/sheet size 15 1/2 x 19 in. (39.3 x 48.3 cm), matted, unframed.
Condition: Discoloration along left and bottom edges, overall yellowing to print, minor crease in u.l. corner, scattered unobtrusive abrasions, scattered light fox marks and discolored areas on mount, tear in mount u.c.

Provenance: Property from the collection of Harvey Shipley Miller, proceeds to benefit the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
