Description:

Plains Bird Head Pipe Stem, c. last half 19th century, the ash stem partly wrapped with brass and copper and decorated with three carved horn bird heads, two with crests, dark patina, lg. 21 in.

Provenance: Collected by George Tibbitts in the 1880s.
