Rare Gilt-gesso and Mahogany Veneer Presentation Patent Timepiece, Lemuel Curtis and Joseph Dunning, Burlington, Vermont, c. 1825, with engraved paper dial affixed to flat sheet iron backing marked "WARRANTED By Curtis and Dunning," and eglomise tablets, the lower depicting Aurora in a chariot drawn by two white-winged horses, old surface, (minor imperfections), ht. including brass eagle finial 41 1/2 in.
