Pearlware Allegorical Figure of Venus, England, c. 1782-95, probably Staffordshire and attributed to Ralph Wood II, polychrome decorated and press-molded as a partially draped goddess with dolphin at her side and set on a rocky freeform base, ht. 8 in.

Provenance: The Troy Chappell Collection; D.M. & P. Manheim.

Missing mirror; slight glaze loss to wrist; light glaze roughness surrounding foorim.
