Keep on Truckin' Sculpture/Two Figures. Signed and dated "Daniel W. Bates 1974" on the base. Steel, each figure 18 x 16 x 9 in., on steel base. Condition: Dust to interstices.
N.B. The term "Keep on Truckin'" was popular in the hippie culture of the 1960s and was intended as an encouragement for people to follow their own paths. The striding man image was immortalized in the comic book figure created by Robert Crumb in 1968.
